D2L Mobile Access

D2L Mobile

Did you know that D2L is accessible through your smart-phone mobile device? You can easily access your D2L courses from your mobile phone or tablet. If you want to see the standard site on your mobile device, click Desktop Version at the bottom of the welcome page. Broward College strongly recommends using a non-mobile web browser for time sensitive and grade-critical activities such as taking quizzes and submitting assignments.

The D2L mobile version is designed with you in mind. It provides read-only access to course News, Content items, and Grades. You can both read and compose in the Discussions area, as well. When logging in to D2L on a non-tablet mobile device (ex. iPod, iPhone, Android, or Blackberry), D2L automatically redirects you to the mobile view. Here's a list of capabilities:
  • see global events and class-specific announcements
  • view list of enrolled courses and their content items
  • check grades,
  • add content bookmarks, and
  • read, post, and reply in discussion topics

Although more features may available in the future, the following features are not currently available on the mobile site:

  • assessments,
  • assignment dropbox,
  • chat,
  • roster,
  • groups, and
  • assessments.

In the event you are having challenges with viewing and accessing tools on your mobile device, please switch to a laptop or desktop computer. To view the full version of D2L on a mobile device (such as the iPad), click the "Desktop Version" link at the bottom of the mobile site's page.
